Tekamba Computers is proud to announce our newest service offering – Tek Service Plans!!!

  • Are you a small business owner who doesn’t have the resources to maintain your own IT department?
  • Do you have a panic attack each time something happens to your PC, afraid of what the cost might be?
  • Would you like a dependable source you know you can call on to take care of servicing your technology?
  • If you answered yes to any of those questions then our new service is designed exactly for you!

Tekamba’s Tek Service Plans are for the PC owner (home or business) that likes to know that the little things are planned for. By signing up for one of our Tek Service Plans to support your computer systems (whether you have one computer in your home or business, or dozens of computers throughout your company) our Tek Service Plans will help to give you peace of mind.

The basis is straightforward, you pay a small monthly fee as a member of one of our Tek Service Plans, and then, when disaster strikes (as it is guaranteed to do), you call on us to take care of it. You pay a small co-pay amount (for the labor fees) based on your chosen plan, and that’s it. Whether it requires two or ten hours, you don’t pay anything above your co-pay amount to cover the labor costs. This gives you the comfort of knowing much more accurately what it is going to take to get your PC operational again.

If you would prefer to do your best to avoid even minor problems with your computer, we also have plans for both home and business users where we pro-actively check your computer for you each month to maintain it running at it’s best possible state. Quite often, during our monthly check, we can even spot potential hardware problems and help you with a sensible solution, a lot of the time even BEFORE you would notice the part is failing!

If you would like more information about our Tek Service Plans – please click on the Tek Service Plans link at the top, or right here in this notification!

Tekamba Computers looks forward to taking the guesswork out of PC bills, and making sure your computer is working FOR you, and not against.

RepurposedPC’s – Giving Old Computers A New Life

    Saturday, April 23rd, 2011

Tekamba Computers, LLC is proud to announce a new program that we believe will help our community. Computers are being upgraded all the time (business and home users) and these “old” computers are quite often being put aside and forgotten about. A good majority of these computers can be given just a bit of TLC and put back into service in a different capacity. That is exactly what Tekamba is putting together. A 2-tier approach to helping the non-profits with their technology needs, to allow them to best help the groups they are designed to in our community.

We would like to work with local businesses and the community, if you have an old computer that is no longer performing the functions you need it to. We will be happy to come by and pick it up at your convenience. We will then provide you with a certificate verifying that we will do a complete wipe of the contents of the data stored on the computer to a government level standard. Your data will never leave our offices. The computer system will then go through a complete revamping, some computers will just need to have their operating system reinstalled, some might require that we combine the hardware from a few different machines to construct a system capable of handling the tasks needed of it. We will then be working with local non-profits in our community, and matching up these Repurposed PC’s with the non-profits and supplying them with a system that meets their needs. These will be provided out to the non-profits on a first-come first-serve basis (also factoring the requirements a non-profit has from the systems and matching those requirements to the systems we have available). That will be the first tier (or hardware side) of the project.

The second tier will be in service, Tekamba Computers is committed to donating a minimum of 20 labor hours monthly to this project. That time will be spent either refurbishing the systems in our offices, or working on-site at the non-profits helping them with their IT needs. Even if they don’t need a system provided to them through this program they can still request our services at their location to help get the most from technology they already have in place. The hours each month will be allocated on an as-needs basis. If we get a lot of calls for on-site service, we might not be able to devote as many hours to refurbishing the systems. We will, however, strive to have systems reworked and ready to go back out to benefit the community as quickly as possible.

So if you have an old computer system you’d like to supply to this program, you are a non-profit in need of computers/IT assistance, or even if you have IT knowledge and you’d like to become a part of this program please stop by our website at http://www.repurposedpcs.com or give us a call at (480) 269-7250 and let us know.
