Christmas morning free tech support!

Friday, December 25th, 2009

That’s right! That’s not a typo in the title! For 3 hours Christmas morning (see times below) we are going to be answering your tech questions as quickly as possible (we’ll do everything possible to get you an answer immediately). There are 3 ways you can get your question to us:

1) Using our Call Me website gadget (click below). Under normal conditions that link will route your call through our voicemail system. But Christmas morning, during our 3 hour window of support, those calls are going to be sent directly to my cell phone and I’ll answer every call I can fit in.

2) Use the built in chat client to the right. First we recommend that you click at the bottom and “edit nickname” set it to something meaningful to you. Then start with the post – “I have a question”. I’ll be in front of my computer and doing as much multi-tasking as possible to answer each question that comes across my screen as quickly as possible.

3) The final method would be to use our standard tech support request page by clicking here. Scroll down that page a bit and fill out and submit the form. I will be emailed your request and will process them as quickly as possible.

This is a first time for me and I am not sure how inundated with requests I may become. I’ll be doing my best to answer each and every request as quickly (and in the order I received them) as possible. There are a few rules I would ask you to adhere to.

a) If calling in, I’ll have to limit calls to 10 minutes maximum (this could be overlooked a bit if there are not other requests coming in, but if I am trying to handle the load I am expecting then the 10 minute limit will be adhered to.
b) Stick to computer related questions, preferably regarding new technology you may be working with because of the holiday. I’ll answer whatever questions I can, but am hoping to help out people getting new things and not sure of how to get them properly setup.
c) The window of tech help will be 3 hours long [8AM-11AM(MST) - 10AM-1PM(EST) - 7AM-10AM(PST)]. Once that window has closed I will be spending some time iwth my family, but if you miss that time period, feel free to still send in your request, just be aware that calls will return to being directed through my voicemail system, and chats/emails may not be immediately replied to.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas (and I apologize if that phrase offends you, that isn’t how it is meant, I was raised celebrating Christmas and so that is my standard greeting and not meant to bother you). If you or someone you know has received a new piece of technology and isn’t sure how to set it up or are having some troubles with it, that is what this is meant for.

We at Tekamba Computers want to thank all our valued customers and look forward to many years of supporting your technology needs. We are a small computer repair company based in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Make sure to tell your friends and family about us for any future technology needs.

Thank you again,
