Details of Tek Service Plans:
1) All plans require a 12 month commitment.
2) Flat fee for labor on all service calls for computer systems covered under a service plan.
3) Quick Call is in place to help with those times when you just need a fast answer or just a little assistance. They cover those items that can be dealt with between 5 and 10 minutes. If it requires more than 10 minutes to address, then it will be considered a service call and be subject to the Flat Rate Labor fee of the plan you are covered under.
4) Labor discounts can be applied to any service request that wouldn’t be covered under your service plan. Such as a non-covered computer that needs service, or your home or office needs some network wiring done, printer is giving you problems, etc.
5) All systems covered under the plans will need to be “registered” at the time you start your contract. This is a quick process performed by one of our technicians where we setup remote access and run a quick systems report on your computer.
6) Premium and Tier 3 plans (home and business respectively) cover up to five (5) computer systems under the base rate. Additional computers can be added to these plans for a nominal additional monthly fee (per pc added) of $4.95 for the Home Premium Plan and $5.95 for the Business Tier 3 plan.
7) Premium Plus and Tier 4 plans (home and business respectively) are considered “Pro-Active” plans and we will schedule a time once a month to remotely access your system, at which time we remove programs from running unnecessarily at start-up, check your system for updates, run a quick scan for viruses, and do an overall assessment of the computer system to allow us to alert you to any issues that may be arising. These checkups quite often allow us to spot problems before they cause a disruption in the tasks you need to perform on your computer.
